Our Mission
Kenya's personal and business finance landscape evolves rapidly with statutory acts, tax amendments, and shifting economic policies. Our mission is to make financial calculations accessible, friction-free, and simple to understand for every Kenyan—without requiring complex spreadsheets or expensive consultations.
Statutory Accuracy & Legal Framework
All our salary, tax, and property calculators are continuously updated and audited against official gazetted legislation:
- Income Tax Act (Cap. 470): PAYE graduated income tax bands, KSh 2,400 monthly personal relief, and insurance reliefs.
- Affordable Housing Act 2024: 1.5% employee and 1.5% employer levy treated as an allowable tax deduction.
- Social Health Insurance Act (SHIA 2023): 2.75% gross salary SHIF contribution treated as an allowable deduction.
- NSSF Act 2013: Year 4 statutory Tier I (KSh 9,000 max) and Tier II (KSh 108,000 max) pension caps.
- EAC Common External Tariff (CET) & KRA Customs: Motor vehicle import duties, excise scales, 16% VAT, IDF, and RDL.
